So... Ive been away from the keyboard for a few months, been meaning to get back on and have a closer look at some films; lets get started.
So while i've been gone we've had some big names on the big screen; including batman spiderman and yes, bond.
Lets start with The dark knight rises; while not being as good as the dark knight it does tick a lot of boxes, and jesus it was a good choice for hathaway... That girl looks good in a skin tight cat suit. hathaway getting us all hot under the collar the collar was just one great choice, we also seen Tom Hardy as bane, well done Nolan another good choice, the bane voice has left us all with a good impression to learn, some of his lines were immense. For me the only thing that let this film down was the middle, it just didn't seem to work, the rest was great though. Id say it was the second best in the trilogy. Dark night coming in with an amazing 10/10; rises with 8.5/10 and begins at 8/10, these could rise with another and more recent watch.
Did i already review spiderman? I cant remember and cant be bothered checking. Spiderman back to basics, they've gone all comic book on this film, some didn't like that, i however think its a good thing. The amazing spiderman was good, a lot better than the spiderman trilogy of last decade, and no Toby you weren't amazing, anything but. Again good choice of cast, emma stone looks amazing throughout the film, one mr sheen popping in to play uncle ben and of course garfield playing spiderman... All good choices, they brought something seriously lacking in the previous spiderman films, i don't know what it is, but i like it. Garfield also looks to be good for the next avengers, i know theres a while but we can only hope he can fit in... Id hate another Hulk like
Switch to happen, when theres so much potential in the current cast.
Spiderman gets my thumbs up, but needs to stand the test if another watch before an actual rating, but be sure that its at least a 7/10
Taken 2 came out recently, i haven't actually had the pleasure of watching it but I've heard good things, they are walking a fine line with this one, it looks to me as of the sequel will be the exact same as the first, with some characters playing different roles, can they make it different enough while making it similar enough to the first, if they've managed this incredible feat it will be an amazing film just like the first, but id does leave me worried that it'll be to similar to the first and wont merit a watch. Heres hoping film fans!

Thats right, its time for bond!
Skyfall looked set to be amazing... And it was; there wasn't a dull moment in the film, and there was definite signs that daniel craig can be a decent classic Bond. The villain was great (nice melty face) Q was great and the background cast done it justice... Oh and welcome back ms. Money penny!
This film was immense, it had everything i wanted, the Db5 was back, they even made a few jokes about the previous gadgets, very good mr. Bond. Oh and the gay joke, it was superb, bond casually flirting with the bad guy as he strokes his legs was hilarious, and even had some idiots sitting behind me asking if bond was gay! Must be new to the game.
Film deserves a solid 9.5/10 only losing out because i wanted more melty face.
And no I'm not saying its the best Bond film ever, but it was brilliant.
